Free prices

A free price is a price with no charge: the buyer signs up from your storefront and gets access to the product forever. Use it for a free community, a sample channel, or a lead-in to your paid products.

  1. Open the product and click Add price.
  2. Turn on Free price. The amount, currency, Recurring and Single use per customer fields disappear — a free price is always a one-off with no amount, and always single use.
  3. Optionally set a Customer condition or a Stock limit. Both work the same as on paid prices.
  4. Click Save price.

The price is created in Published status and can be claimed right away. Unlike paid prices, you don’t enable any payment method on it: the edit modal shows “Free prices don’t use payment providers: customers sign up directly from your store page.”

A price can’t switch between free and paid after it’s created, because the amount can’t be edited. To turn a free offer into a paid one, archive the free price and create a new one.

The price shows as Free on your storefront, with a Get It Free button. The buyer signs in to Grouptizer (or creates an account), clicks the button and lands on their purchase, with access to the Telegram channel or group straight away.

  • Access is lifetime. The purchase has no expiration and nothing to renew. It shows as Free and No expiration in the buyer’s purchases.
  • Single use per customer. Each buyer can claim a free price once. If you cancel the purchase, the buyer can’t claim it again.
  • No payment, no transactions. Nothing is charged, no fee or commission is taken, and no transaction is recorded. Free purchases don’t appear in your earnings.
  • Stock and customer conditions apply. If the price has a stock limit, each claim uses one unit. If it has a customer condition, only matching buyers can claim it.
